Wallpaper for my friendster profile?,pls.recommend any good site.?

Im new about computers and having a lot of questions on my mind whats the difference between wallpapers,screensavers,and desktop wallpapers...etc... Could anyone pls. explain this to me and also give me some "free" sites that i can use for my Friendster profile background & not for my desktop. I want 3D background ,and it says there jpeg only(i dont know what is that) Can i use 3D from there? Thanks everyone!!!

1. I don't use any sites. I use my grandkids pictures!! or I have taken photos of my city and I can use both of them.
2. wallpaper/desktop wallpaper : a decorative poster usually used as the background picture for your pc.it helps to get a good look of ur desktop. screensavers : a screen saver displays moving images to prevent your screen from damage.a screensaver starts automatically when your computer is idle for a specified time. sites that you can look for wallpapers of any sort: www.allposters.com www.wallpaper.com these sites however dont provide 3D wallpapers. look for 3D wallpapers in: www.cool3dwallpaper.com www.3dmindscape.com www.tws3d.com www.freegraphics.org/wallpaper.cgi OR www.artist-3d.com
3. Desktop wallpaper is what is on your screen background while you work. A screensaver is what appears when you leave the computer untouched for a while. The link below is a great site - the folders on the left open up into more choices of wallpapers. Just right click the image and ...save picture as (to your computer) From the start menu go to setting>control panel>display and then the tabs on the top can take you through the settings of your wallpaper. To set the wallpaper, click on the"Desktop" tab. Then you can choose which you want from the list. Otherwise, to add your own, click "browse" to set your wallpaper (remember where you saved the image) then click apply to set your wallpaper. You can also download screensavers adn set them in the same way but under the "Screensavers" tab.
