can graphics suite 12 or adobe illustrator be used for making screen savers?

im a novice on the pc, but a professianal graphic artist, im looking for a program to design screensavers , that are 3d, so photographs, slides are not doing it, help me please. corel draw and adobe are the most confortable for me to use. thanks for any help i can get.

1. adobe illustrator is excellent. to get 3D type effects you might use the gradient mesh feature to shade your objects or whatever you've got in the image.
