I am getting a " could not find any compatible Direct3D devices"?

I dont really know very much about computers, but my mother bought me one for my 14th birthday and it's only been 2 months and im seeing this error. When i try to run the Space or other 3D screensavers it just comes up with the error message of " could not find any compatible Direct3D devices". I have looked to other sites for help with little luck. My video card is an NVidia GeForce 7300. My settings right now are.... 1280x1024 resolution 16bit color and my acceration speed is at it's highest If somebody could help me that would be great thank you.

1. Hmm, I'm pretty sure a 7300 would support that kind of stuff. I would suggest looking up of the latest version of the driver and installing it. Also, that's some really weird resolution settings. Turn it to 32 bit, that's standard. I would also suggest that unless the computer is high-end, don't run 3-D screensavers. What are your specs?
2. check and see if you have a suitable graphics/video card driver..
3. Update your DirectX files, the run DXINFO.EXE, it will allow you to test Direct3D devices.
