PC Screensaver just stopped working?

Hi! A few weeks ago, my screensaver just stopped coming on. I did a defrag, scan dick, virus scan, even did a registry check, all to no avail. I haven't installed anything new lately, either. I've tried to eliminate the processes in the Task Manager, but nothing seems to be the problem there. I am using the Windows 3D Text saver. I'd appreciate any ideas!
