lost screensaver-want back?

a few days ago i deleted an intel upgrade and some other stuff-i'm new at this-and my ability to have a screensaver went away.now my computer says i need some kind of card or 3d something.since i had a screensaver before, i think it's my fault and want to know what to turn on again to get it back.

1. Download direct X-that might help.If you have a screen-saver on a CD just install it again or download it from the net.You probably deleted that too ( screen-saver ).
