Screen Savers Depot

I just upgraded to a larger 22" lcd monitor and now screensaver tells me i need 3d hardware????

The screen saver was runnning fine w/the other monitor so it can't be the computer. Is it the monitor and how/where do I find my 3D hardware???

  1. You need to install drivers for your monitor. That should take care of the "glitch". I suspect your computer is using standard VGA drivers instead of plug & play or specific drivers for your monitor. You could also tell it to look for new hardware (Device Manager). This will sometimes "kickstart" your computer into finding the drivers on it's own. The message is not a "true" message as 3D hardware has to do with your video card, not your monitor.
  2. Winter Town 3D Screensaver is a fine-looking screensaver that may give your desktop a fresh winter spirit. When the screensaver comes to life, you find yourself in a small winter town on a still night. Stars are twinkling bright in the sky and say good bye to the snowflakes, which are silently falling all around the houses. In the center of the town, there is a Christmas tree with many festive colored lights around. As you unwind to the magic of this scene, you will be accompanied by a Christmas carol that adds to the winter spirit.
