Software Removal Freakout?!?

I have several programs on my computer that have been on there for several months or even years. I no longer have the disks. Several of the programs either have an error message on them when I try to delete them from the "Add/Remove" section...or they want you to insert the disk. My question is....does anyone know of any software programs that I download (for free) that would delete these programs?? I have run CCleaner three times and it can't get them off either. The programs are like free screensavers that say "Error 661: can't open log file", or Microsoft Office that wants the disk...I no longer have the disk. Does anyone know of ANY programs that I can download to take these off?? They are taking up a ton of space. TY!!

  1. Try this but before you try it do a thorough antivirus scan of your system. Get on the web and go to http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/site; download the free trial program, familiarize your self with it and use it to delete the unwanted programs, clean up your registry automatically along with a sort of other helpful and useful maintenance chores. It is an excellent little program and does wonders with PC maintenance tasks and I strongly recommend it! It works on the background on its own automatically.
  2. It won't necessarily be fun, but do a google search on the program and removal www.google.com "remove works" for example. There should be listings telling how to remove the program of interest when it doesn't come out with add/remove programs.
