- You havent mentioned any specifications of your PC, does it have a graphics card, and if so which kind, how much memory on this graphics card? Demanding programs such as 3D games require this to run. If you have intigrated graphics then the chances are it will be VERY basic and not equiped to run the programs you want. Also what is the spec and how old is your PC? Is it a low budget model? if it is then the chances are it wont be equiped to run the 3D programs you want. Do you have directX installed? is your graphics card (if you have one) driver installed and if so is it up to date? not enough info to give you a correct answer to your problem.
- You fan and heatsink probably needs a good cleaning. It could also be that the fan is worn out and requires replacing.
- i think to much processing is the cause of that, and i think you have slow video card that can't handle too much graphics, or something to do with your CPU.
- Well the reason your computer goes on like a vacuum when you are doing something is because the CPU begins to heat up. Most CPU fans are heat-regulated, meaning they will speed up when the CPU is hot and slow down when it'd idling. This can be attributed to a few things. First of all, your case might not have proper ventilation. Most cases have holes for fans and all that, but dust and other stuff enters these holes and builds up. Take some time to unplug your PC, open up the case and get rid of all the dust. You can use just a tissue and also compressed air to help speed things up. The second possibility is that the heatsink (the metal thing on top of the CPU) is either not properly applied, or there's no thermal paste beneath it. What you have to do is gently wiggle it around to see if it comes lose. If it does, then make sure you put it back on so it's firm. Also, you might want to take of the heatsink to check if there's any thermal paste there. It's just this weird goo thing that helps cool down the CPU. It's actually not hard to take off the heatsink and put it back on. Third thing... maybe your temperature sensors are messed up and causing the fan to speed up a lot. This is rare, but still a possibility. However, (assuming you have a brand-name PC) many of these computers come equipped with crappy cooling solutions which make them very loud.
- well have you ever opened your moden and vac it out after awhile dust get's in there and messes everything up just open it up and don't mess with anything just vac it out and make sure you clean the fan
