- Use HTML coder to write script for programs
- In order create a program, you need to know how to program. This often requires years of schooling but if you're persistent, you can teach yourself in a matter of weeks to do basic tasks. Windows programs are executables, mostly written in C++. It's a great place to start, but not the best place. If I were you, I'd begin with Java or VB.NET, both easy to pick up. Java shares a lot in common with C++, so having background knowledge will only make it easier on you. Here's a link: http://www.cplusplus.com/
- Good lord! You don't want much, do you??? Creating programs for windows (or any other operating system) is a complex subject and can't really be answered here. Step one: Taks stock of your resources. Got visual basic, C compiler, etc.? Step two: Sign up for a course at the local community college for programming using those resources, or just take an introductory level course to see what you're getting into. People who write successful programs for windows usually have taken the time and trouble to get the education. But there are other ways if you're willing to put in the effort. As to websites, there are plenty of them. Just google for things like Visual Basic Programming, C programming, etc. Substitute whatever language you want to use. Finally, there are a number of good books around. Visual Basic in 24 hours from Sams, and many others dealing with different languages and platforms. Check out the computer section at Barnes and Noble, or B Dalton, or Borders. Amazon.com is a good source too. Once you're started, you can usually get some good advice on sites like this one. Just make sure you try to find the answers yourself before you post problems. You don't want to get a reputation for being a lazy learner. People will probably start ignoring you if you do. Best of luck, Gene
