dOES NVIDIA HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH 3D SCREENSAVERS/? IF SO WHAT IS IT SUPPOSED TO BE SET ON,?

  1. To answer your question, yes. Your NVidia video card renders your screensaver, but there is no setting that you have to set. If you're using an NVidia video card, it renders your display at all times whether it is your programs or your screen saver. There is no setting that you have to set to activate it. You can edit your NVidia preferences toward a performace or appearance preference if you like. To put it simply, NVidia is a brand of Graphics Processing Unit (aka GPU / Video Card). Video cards take the work of processing all your computers graphics calculations. This way, your processor doesn't have to mess with it; you thereby have a faster running system.
