How to extract audio from a .scr screensaver file?

How can I get the music track from the Future City 3D screensaver? How can I get the music track from the Future City 3D screensaver? Windows or Mac,either OS will work.

1. HI. I would suggest that it is not impossible to use a sound extractor but this is not your average video format. For a one off like this i recommend a sound recorder. Right click your speaker volume icon (bottom right). Select recording devices. Enable " Stereo Mix" and set as default device ,this way any recordings made will be the sound you here coming from your speakers. If only the mic icon appears as sound source then right click in an open space below the icon and tick "show disabled devices" Windows has its own sound recorder in Accessories but this is a very low sample rate not that good for quality music recordings. Should you want here is a free HI sample rate sound recorder. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ PS If you use the Preview option in screen saver options you will get your file to play on demand.
