What I should put on my new mac?
Ok I am getting the new 17" MacBook pro. I want to make it shnazzy and put cool apps and tweaks on it. Please list things like screensavers wallpapers and things like ispaz or liquid mac. Also will threat things make my computer run alot slower it do they take risks with my VERY expensive notebook? Guys seriously. Mac Is better then windows. You can even put windows on a mac. So don't joke around. Windows seven isn't going to fix anything. I used to be a pc but then I noticed what mac really was. So shut up

- "What I should put on my new mac?" A shipping label marked return to sender. Get your money back and buy three Intel based notebooks for the same price. Each one will be more powerful and last longer than your overpriced soon-to-be paperweight. Good luck though.
- Windows.
- Don't listen to these comedians. There's nothing wrong with getting a mac. They are very reliable (My employer has had the same macbook for 5 years and it is still very capable. I guess it depends what kind of applications you want to get. I guess Final Cut Pro or something is the industry standard for video editing. Don't need to dish out on Photoshop, Gimp works just as well. Hope it helps
- Even though the Mac doesn't really have any viruses/malware out in the wild, you should still get an antivirus program. iAntivirus is a free antivirus program for the Mac. If you're a torrenter, Transmission is a great lightweight free torrent client for the Mac. In response to "VERY expensive notebook", you should get Undercover. You have to pay for it, but if your MacBook Pro gets stolen, Undercover will increase the chances of recovering it. You can get Google Earth for the Mac for viewing places and landmarks, even your own home in street view. If you need to view Windows Media files in your Mac, you can get Flip4Mac, a tool that when installed lets you view wmv (Windows Media Video) files. Growl is a program used by many programs (Firefox is one example) to display notifications. You can change where they appear, what they look like, and much more. MainMenu is a program to help rid your mac of unneeded files, repair certain system items, and more. Monolingual is a program that lets you remove unneeded languages from your Mac, therefore saving disk space. If you need to run programs that are only for Windows, you can get VMware Fusion, which lets you install a version of Windows (you need the install CD) that you can run on your Mac. There are many more apps that you should get, but I'm not on my MacBook Pro right now so I can't tell you the rest right now. Hope this helps!
- How about a Right-Click? Sorry, I had to say that. My friend has one and when he asks me how to do something I explain how I do the same thing in Windows and it usually involves a right-click and I have been joking about it with him ever since. Mac's are cool I guess, but I would rather have two pc's for the same price. If you had a pc, I could list many things to put on it and even for FREE. Mac's are harder to do that for.
