  1. Here are some fsh that would eat feeder fish, oscars jack dempseys jaguar cichlids rocket gars some catfish Here is a link with MANY other fish that will eat feeder fish. http://aqualandpetsplus.com/ Hope this helps!!
  2. No matter what you get, it's not really recommended to use feeder fish (assuming you're using goldfish or rosie red minnows). They should only be used as a rare treat, if at all. Aside from the possibility of introducing disease, they're very inadequate from a nutrition standpoint. Now if you're using the 10 gallon to breed some mollies or something, and growing the fry out in something larger to use as feeders, that is a much better option. As for what eats them and can live in a 55 gallon, there are a ton of options. Smaller piranha species, smaller pike cichlids, moderate sized South/Central American cichlids, SA leaffish, needlefish, Ctenopoma, Exodon paradoxus...not to mention all of the stuff that can fit in there as juveniles/young individuals, but then outgrow it. I'm sure there's plenty I'm forgetting, too. It's late, after all.
  3. needlenose gars are really interesting. don't get cichlids they need a bigger tank and plus they dont look unique. get a african brown knifefish or a african leaf fish. some exotic carnivorous fish would be a vampire tetra, pink tail characin, freshwater barracuda, rainbow crayfish, shovelnose catfish ,or a banded leporinus. These are aggressive fish and should not be all put in the same tank!
  4. I would go with bichers or catfish
