Can I turn my video files into screensavers for use with a mobile phone?

The software I am using allows me to turn my video files into screensavers, however the files produced are way too large for use with a mobile phone. Any suggestions? Thank you I actually already have avc (free version) but I cannot find 3pg format on there What would be ideal is if I could find a way to use/convert my current video files so that they play when the phone is in screensave mode
