I've tried everything! How do I get my screensaver to work?

I used to have it on picure slideshow and I don't really know when it stopped working, but I've got the time set to 1 minute. Right now it's on 3D pipes, but none of the defaults work, and I didn't download any off the internet. Turn off monitor, harddisks, and standby are all on never. Also, hibernate is off. I just want a screensaver, any screensaver.

You right click the desktop and click on properties and go to screensaver to choose ur screensaver.
go to your desktop... right click... a menu will pop up click on properties... then a window will come up and go to the screensaver tab...
right click on your desktop. click properties. Go to the ScreenSaver Tab. Choose one. Click Apply. Click OK. You should be good to go. If not, try downloading a new one.
Well maybe the screensaver files are damaged, try downloading some from the web and see if those work. If u still have the problem then u have a problem with ur OS setup. try repairing the OS.
May you have installed any recent software which has been using it and you uninstall it with out knoledge. If nothing helps try system restore, that would help.
a *.scr file needed if you want a screensaver on your computer, you can download it anywhere. I suggest you forget about screensaver, some reason: * Some viruses uses screensaver files to infect PC * Will you enjoy it? * Screensaver consumes significant usage of RAM, so your PC will slown down
