No hardware accelerated direct 3d devices found. Switching tenderer's ?

I have tried every possible avenue to install a 3D screensaver but the result is the same. I have Direct X as well as Direct X SDL plus I think I have downloaded every graphics controller microsoft offers. I have tried the on board video controller and 3 different video cards, my settings are at 32 bit color and I still haven't had any luck. Any advice ? By the way, my system is a Sony Vio desktop pc with 1716 mhz processor and 128 mb's of memory.although I can't imagine why that would matter because I have used my Virtual Aquarium on slower systems but can't now.Advice ? Correction...that should have read..."Renderer's."

1. Well... first of all you shouldn't need the direct x sdl... and you shouldn't need to change your video card drivers. in fact you SHOULDN'T change your video card drivers to something other than what is in your computer. If you provide the model number for your computer maybe someone can help you find the correct drivers for your video card. and you should uninstall the direct x sdl... (i think thats for developers)... just regular direct x 9.0c is what you would need. Another note: 128mb of memory is a very small amount of memory. If you have an onboard video card it usually shares with the system memory. If you have lots of programs open using that memory already, the video processor can't use it. I would suggest upgrading your system memory (RAM). You'll notice a drastic improvement in the speed of your system (especially if you are currently using windows XP, which i would assume you are if you have a 1.7ghz processor on a fairly new computer).
2. the on-board video probably cannot handle directx, what other video cards did you use (and note you can NOT download hardware-video cards)?
