Free Screensavers for Macintosh OS X Power PC? All I want is to find a legitimate free download site with animated wallpapers that are compatible with (see above also) Macintosh OS X with a "Power PC processor" (it's not a PC!! A few people don't get that and blindly answer the question) If at all possible, My computer's theme is dark, so I would prefer a site that has some cool themes that match that profile. Where can I find cool screen savers that do NOT have spyware or advertisements? I've tried a few free screensavers that seemed cool but my firewall keeps telling me they are trying access the internet (phone home) my personal information! I don't want spyware on my computer. I'm looking for Christmas screensavers? I am looking for free 3-D Christmas screensavers. All the ones i have found have the long questionaire at the end that is so annoying. I dont want any credit card offers, or magazines, or to join a CD club, I just want some cool screensavers for the rest of the season. how do you remove MyFreeze from my home page? First i downloaded one of those free 3D screensavers (they are pretty cool) i was able to delete every thing i did but this My Freeze page as my home page will not go away. Installing Windows XP SP2 on SATA Hard drives? Hello there.... I have a windows xp SP2 already installed in my computer, but the problem is my PC has gotten too buggy! It has slowed down(it takes 10 minutes before it can load my desktop), my Internet Explorer always get crashed(freezes) and i recieve lots of error after start-up and before shutting down. I know its all my mistake beacuse I installed those damn free 'cool' screensavers on the net, love to use the ctrl+alt+del func even some programs are running or shutting the system down(a proper shut down) even i have some opened programs and forcefully ending them now. No viruses, adware or spyware found after running antiviruse programssss so i decided to 4mat 8 & reinstall XP. Now i am hving a problem in installing XP on my hard drive(Seagate Barracuda 120GB). I can't instal beacuse during installation, the setup cannot detect any hard drives. even during CMOS setup(where sreen turns blue), it shows no hardrives found. But wen I log-in in my buggy system, it runs. why is that? I unstalled those free screen savers before running the scanning. but no detections. This is annoys me. Anyway, for more info about my system: Procsessor - Intel 2800 Mhz Hard drive - Seagate Barracuda 120 GB RAM - 1024 MB Video Card - Tornado GeForce FX 5500; 256mb(128bit) Mother Board - Asus P4 V800D-X How can i install XP SP2? Any step-by-step intructions? I am also planning to attach a Seagate Barrcuda 160 GB hard disk as a slave and would like to partition it, will it be fine for my system? Where can I get scary screensavers? I've been watching alot of biographies about scary movies and I just finished watching the new Nightmare On Elm Street. I got a cool desktop background of Freddy, but my screensaver doesn't match it.... I wanted to make a screensaver that would have the "1-2- Freddy's Coming For You" song playing, and some sort of dream-like film snippets. But I really don't know how to make screensavers. I don't know how to make anything on a computer, except making a word document. Do any of you people know a trustworthy* website that gives free wallpapers and screensavers. *trustworthy as in no viruses! i have 41 viruses on my other computer... still waiting for parents to take it into the Computer Doctors. (its kinda weird thinkin that computers can get sick. the computer doctors and hackers even has names for things that sounds like wat humans need when theyre sick. Antibodies, Vaccine, Surgery [thats when they take apart the computer to do something] and etc.)
I miss the old windows screensavers...? I have windows vista, so I only have a few screensavers to choose from. I miss the ones on older versions of windows, like '98 and XP. What is an UNLOCKED phone and FIRMWARE? I've heard a lot of talk about unlocking cellphones and switching its firmware from the provider's to the manufacturer's. I'm going to get th new Sony Ericsson w580 with Rogers and I would like to get this figured out before I make the deal. What exactly is unlocking? Does it mean that it unlocks all the features that the provider has hidden? And I've heard that the w580 from Rogers will use not Sony Ericsson's default firmware but Roger's own firmware which lacks many cool features such as mp3 ringtones, flash themes and screensavers. Is this true for a lot of providers? How do I switch the firmware to SE's, preferably for free?

Do you have a unique screensaver? I don't like screensavers with rotating pictures or with a floating design. I like to be able to see my desktop and anything on it and just have something appear in front of it. I have a few examples underneath with links to better explain what I mean. I use the free fire screensaver ( http://www.laconicsoftware.com/free-fire-screensaver.php ). It just makes everything on the screen look like its on fire. I've also used and Icy Christmas screensaver ( http://www.elasticsystems.com/screensavers/icy-christmas-screensaver/index.htm ), which makes it look like the screen is slowly freezing. On my laptop i have the Rainy screensaver ( http://www.elasticsystems.com/rainy/index.html) which makes it look like you're looking out the window while its raining. Anyway I was asking if anyone out there knows of any other really unique and cool screensavers out there?

What would you do in this cell phone decision nightmare? I have a MetroPCS phone. I'm a simple person. It's a simple, black slide-up phone. I have unlimited EVERYTHING. I don't have to worry about going over my minutes. I only pay 51 bucks each month, and if I ever decide I'm just tired of the service... I just don't pay my bill and they cut the bad boy off. No harm, no foul. Recently, my cousin's boyfriend started working at the same mall I work at. He works at T-Mobile, so naturally he started talking to me about phones and plans. So I ended up getting into one without even blinking. He gave me a $250 phone for free, and I have a $60 plan with unlimited text/web and 300 whenever minutes. The unlimited calling, of course, is limited to 5 people, but there's free nights and weekends. Which is cool because I don't call anyone anyway. I also get a 12% discount just for being a mall employee, which sounds good to me. Well, I love the phone. It's a Samsung slide-up like my old one, except I can play music on this phone, talk on msn, and I can download photos from the web as screensavers. Couldn't do that with the old phone. Another thing that drew me towards T-Mobile and away from MetroPCS is the reception issue. Talking on Metro is absolutely horrid. They have terrible reception, dropped calls and I don't always get people's texts (or I do and they're just not in order). My problem is that when I was asking people their opinion about the switch, it dawned on me that the contract might not work out for me. What if I lose my job or something and I decide I don't wanna be in it anymore? So I went back up to T-Mobile and lo and behold, my cousin's b/f Brandon was there, and naturally he said I was "indecisive". I don't care about if he thinks I'm wishy-washy or not. I just don't wanna be stuck in a damn contract. So since Brandon is new, this Mohammed guy says, "So let's do this.... I'll give you 4 months to try it out since you work in the mall. You know we'll hook you up, right? If it doesn't work out, just come back and we'll cancel it for no fee. If I'm not here, just tell them Mohammed said you can do that. Also, by the way... I'm technically not allowed to do this because it's illegal." So, here's the deal. I technically have until Wednesday to return the phone in order to avert being stuck in a 2-year contract (14-day grace period). I kept the phone out of pressure by Mohammed, but if they try to give me the run-around the next time I return it... can I take them to court for false advertisement? I have Mohammed's provision in writing on his business card. Is this a legally-binding document? Yeah, he does seem kinda shady. I got "suckered" into a T-Mobile phone 2 years ago by guys who were just like him. And I had to get my aunt to act on my behalf to get me out of it. This seems like the same situation happening again, except in this case, I actually do want the phone. But I don't want to be in a contract. Because you have to pay X amount of dollars to get out of it. That's terrible how much you had to pay a month. That's insane! I'm over here freaking out about my decision, and I'm only paying them a fraction of what you had to pay. You're right. Thanks, Adidas!
