How do I locate and take screensavers from Windows 95? PLEASE HELP: I would like to get screensavers from my Windows 95 computer and put them on a storage device so I can use them on my newer computer. I have been searching for them to download all over the Internet but it seems the only option is to get them straight off the old machine. So please give me some instructions on how to get them from the old computer.

Can anyone help me install these screensavers in Windows 7? I recently bought a new Xbox game (Deathsmiles) which includes a disc full of desktop goodies. Included in the package is a set of .scr screensaver files. These preview fine if I double-click them but when trying to use them as screensavers I'm given nothing but a black screen. Now, since they display fine by just double-clicking the .scr files, I don't think Windows has any trouble reading/displaying them. I've tried two methods of installing...copying the files to C:\Windows\system32\, and right-clicking the .scr files and selecting "install". No joy from either. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and how I may be able to get around it? I've already searched online but so far I've found no advice beyond what I'e already tried. Thanks folks! EDIT: In response to Girlborofan's answer (thanks for the input, by the way!) I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (x64 version, but with full x86 support).

Download Windows Vista sound pack, screensavers, wallpapers etc. for FREE? Because of my low system specifications, I asked my friend on how to experience Windows Vista in just 512MB of RAM. He advised me to install a lite edition of Vista, which he provided me a CD with. The installation is successful, and the system generally ran fast, it's like I'm running on 2GB of RAM. Going back to the topic, from the word itself, "LITE", some screensavers, sound packs (including start sound and log-off sound), wallpaper, cursors, etc. are deleted. I checked my left space in my hard drive and I could say it's in the safe level to add these perks regarding Windows Vista. My question is, where can I download this stuff for FREE, and how or where in my PC should I paste/put it? I am currently running Windows Vista Home Premium x32. How can I download screensavers from my computer to my phone? I don't want to send itto myself, I want to do it without spending money. I have a Motorola V325 a USB cable and a Mac OS X. When I connect the phone to my Mac nothing happens or pops up (the battery charges though, so I know I have the right cable). I figured out I need some software or a USB driver for my mobile. I can find USB drivers but they are all for windows. Dose anyone know what software I can use (mac compatible) or another way of getting the pics onto my phone without sending it to myself. is there a way to get your screensavers to work on a home pc? running windows xp. When i right click on desktop and left click properties and right click screensavers and set it up no matter what i do screensavers dont come on even after clicking apply then ok. tried all your suggestions but ive still unable to get screensavers working thanx for the attempts though.
