What is an UNLOCKED phone and FIRMWARE? I've heard a lot of talk about unlocking cellphones and switching its firmware from the provider's to the manufacturer's. I'm going to get th new Sony Ericsson w580 with Rogers and I would like to get this figured out before I make the deal. What exactly is unlocking? Does it mean that it unlocks all the features that the provider has hidden? And I've heard that the w580 from Rogers will use not Sony Ericsson's default firmware but Roger's own firmware which lacks many cool features such as mp3 ringtones, flash themes and screensavers. Is this true for a lot of providers? How do I switch the firmware to SE's, preferably for free?

do you remember these old screensavers? my mother use to have this cool disk with 3d screen savers that played one after the other. it had leonardo's designs, salvador dalis melting clocks, this volcano that burned down the whole city, an eye that did weird things, a space ship of aliens that invaded some land and were killed off. and many more. they were 3d. and i still cant figure out who put them out so i can find the disk, nor can i find any video of these screensavers. it was late 90's earl 2000's. im not sure because i was so young. any one remember or want to help me out? im looking for these specific screensavers

how do you remove MyFreeze from my home page? First i downloaded one of those free 3D screensavers (they are pretty cool) i was able to delete every thing i did but this My Freeze page as my home page will not go away. I used to have YAHOO there & i want it back!! has this happened to u? what did u do to get it to go away?
